Notes need to clearly denote attribution

Currently, I see no way to figure out who wrote a note. This is a critical limitation in the context of groups, where different people may contribute notes to a given shared item. Ideally, even content within a text area (like a note) could be tied to specific users a la a wiki, but this is less immediately important than simply knowing who created the note.
