I believe this site is now using the DOI translator. Is there any kind of universal way to attach full text for DOI? Or do we need custom translators for full text?

Are you both mistaken? We have a Scitation-specific translator, that currently downloads the RIS file. The URL given in that post:
http://link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/PhysRevLett.98.247201
redirects me to:
http://scitation.aip.org/getabs/servlet/GetabsServlet?prog=normal&id=PRLTAO000098000024247201000001&idtype=cvips&gifs=yes
and this uses the Scitation-specific translator.
Scitation.js has no mechanism to capture pdfs, though.

Pretty sure it was using COinS for me when I checked, but I must've missed that there was a Scitation translator it should have been using. It is using the Scitation translator for me now.

- Resolution set to fixed
- Status changed from new to closed
works now after various changes in site & translator.
Note that that site uses COinS, and there's currently no way to specify a PDF via COinS, so this will require a dedicated translator.
