I tried again today, and I'm still having trouble reproducing this. Can you send me a copy of the document with duplicated/triplicated fields, along with your ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.office.plist and ~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Word.plist files? Also, can you see if it happens with different views?
