I graduated from Miami University in 2011 and from Felicity-Franklin High School in 1975. In between I picked up some real-world experience. Currently I am looking into getting two papers published, one a paper on the neighborhood economy of Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine and another on health issues in Jamaica’s slave populations in the 18th century.

I did well on the GRE and am considering graduate school but being older I have roots in the community and am "geographically challenged". I hope to eventually write course material involving local history that will instill an interest in history in secondary school students.
