I am a PhD candidate at Georgia State University and an adjunct professor at Clayton State University, both of which are in Atlanta, Georgia.  My fields of study are 19th and 20th century United States, women and gender, and transatlantic social movements.  I am writing my dissertation on men's roles in the American suffrage movement from 1848 to 1920.  Currently, I am working on a paper that examines the transatlantic observation that took place between the US and UK suffrage movements.
