Alexander "Sandy" Pope

I am a PhD student and adjunct lecturer in Social Studies Education at Teachers College, Columbia University. I am also an adjunct lecturer teaching courses undergraduate and graduate courses in social studies, geography, and special education at Hunter College-CUNY. My specific research interests include civic education and egagment, affirmative eucation, musuem and informal learning, and the history of education in the United States.
