The Recipes Project
We are an international group of scholars interested in the history of recipes, ranging from magical charms to veterinary remedies. Old recipes can tell us a lot about the past, such as how medicines were prepared, when certain foods became popular, or why ingredients might be magical. Join us as we explore the weird and wonderful world of recipes!
This Zotero group is part of The Recipes Project blog, edited by Elaine Leong, Lisa Smith, Amanda Herbert and Laurence Totelin. We've established a Zotero group as a resource for the study of recipes with the intention of sharing our bibliographies of secondary readings and manuscript and print recipe collections. Contributions from other recipe scholars welcome!
