I'm an artist and somatic psychotherapist. I'm aroused by observing the processes by which experience is shaped by culture and various bodies- individual, social and collective, physical and energetic. It is an engagement with the mappings of these bodies and the passions they express which have comprised the terrain of my artistic practice.
I have composed music and sound design for stage and film, and received awards and nominations for this work, including the NFB Colin Lowe Award for Best Documentary film at the Vancouver DOXA Film and Video Festival (2004).

I am always learning and at this time- alongside an interdisciplinary PhD-  I'm pursuing advanced training in Somatic Experiencing® through the International Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute.  (SE™ is a an applied psychobiological approach to trauma resolution in which practitioners work experientially with clients through "stuck" fight, flight and freeze responses.)
