Sokratis Vavilis received his M.Sc. in Information Management and a Dipl.Eng. in Information and Communications Systems Engineering all from the University of the Aegean in Greece (2011 and 2009 respectively). As of December 2011 he is a Ph.D candidate at the Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on Trusted Healthcare Services. Currently, he is invlolved in the COMMIT/ THeCS project. 

His research interests include Computer Security, Trust and Reputation Systems, Data Leakage Protection / Quantification, Role mining and Information Management / Data Science.
