I specialize in alert and intelligent journalism with an emphasis on race relations, identity and gender in science, medical, and consumer health. As the Knight Ridder/San Jose Mercury News Chair in Journalism in the Public Interest at Santa Clara University, I teach courses on science, race and multiculturalism and the news. I also offer trainings and writing coach services.
