Dr. Sara Tedrick Parikh is an assistant professor working with undergraduate students in the Department of Psychology & Counseling at Caldwell University in Caldwell, NJ. Her research area is grief and loss, with an emphasis on college students and peer support. She has current projects related to grief support groups for incarcerated women and Nepali students’ support experiences on U.S. campuses during the 2015 Nepal earthquakes. Other areas of interest include emerging adulthood, multiculturalism, resiliency, and student retention. She keeps her office stocked with knitting needles and photos of her guinea pigs.
