My name is Simon Cropper and I am the Principal Consultant/Director of Botanicus Australia Pty Ltd. I am an experienced ecologist and have worked as a professional since 1985. I have been involved in survey work, the development and implementation of monitoring programs, detailed ecological research and management of both significant species and ecosystems.

I have published several books, several peer-reviewed articles and over a hundred contract reports on the flora and fauna of south-eastern Australia. I am passonate about good science and make an effort to be aware of the latest information relevant to natural resource management, conservation, ecology, government policy and relevant legislation.
