Twenty-something post graduate reading for a PhD in archaeology at University College London. Main research topic is the diachronic analysis of iron smelting slag from the Exmoor region using optical microscopy, XRF and SEM-EDS for compositional analysis. Other research interests include high-temperature technologies, Roman Britain, and the statistical analysis of large compositional data sets.
