I work on finding and using data that will help people understand how we can work together to build a more sustainable and resilient society.

In my job, I do  research and analysis to identify ways to reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions while building a clean energy economy, mostly at the federal and state level. I write papers, factsheets, issue briefs and create other documents like charts, dashboards, and visualizations to synthesize and communicate what I find. I am currently working on building my technical data analysis skills using Python.

Outside of my job, I am interested in open data because I think that increasing access to data will lead to more innovative and diverse potential solutions to address the enormous societal and environmental problems we face. I am also interested in civic hacking and working with others who have different skills than I have to make our community better.
