Responsible for the purchase, maintenance, and implementation of all hardware and software infrastructure associated with the lab, as well as all research activities occurring physically in the lab or remotely. Administered the $500,000 budget provided by the Canada Foundation for Innovation for the purchase and implementation of all infrastructure in order to fulfill the requirements that were part of the IDI grant, including the commissioning of a Digital Assets Management systems, purchase and management of multiple servers and storage area network appliances, camera systems, workstations for Virtual Reality studies, Eyetracking, video recording and analysis, etc. Lab research activities are focused on: development of collaborative and online learning environments, surveys of technology competencies, use of mobile technologies, development of apps and other virtual environments in support of individuals with disabilities through the Inclusive Design Institute (IDI).
