Broadly, Robert is interested in the etiology, development, and treatment of psychopathology in childhood and adolescence.   More specifically, he is interested in the relationship(s) between familial (e.g., parenting behavior, family conflict) and cognitive (e.g., executive functions) factors and externalizing disorders. Within the context of psychopathology in childhood/adolescence, Robert’s additional interests include the design and evaluation of evidence-based interventions, community education programs, and psychological measures.
