His general areas of research include philosophy of religion, philosophical theology, phenomenology, ontology, and metaphysics. More specifically, he is interested in onto-theology, process-relational thought, speculative realism, and open and relational theologies. He holds a Master's Degree in Theology from the University of Chicago Divinity School (2005), and a Bachelor's Degree in Near Eastern Studies from Brigham Young University (2001).
