I'm a veterinary virologist, currently working at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science for my PhD. I'm researching the presence and quantity of viruses in surface water and wastewater in the area surrounding Oslo, in relation to climate change. This data will be used to calculate the acceptable risk of becoming ill from drinking water contaminated with viruses in several scenarios, such as might happen with global warming. Apart from that, I'm interested in One Health, wildlife disease surveillance, bioinformatics, public health and education.
