I am a graduate of Virginia State University with a Bachelor's Degree in History. I am currently working on my Master's and Thesis from Virginia State University. I am also a Student teacher here at the University. My area of expertise is United States History after 1865 to present.

My Master thesis will be on Cpl Freddie Stowers, who received  the Medal of Honor posthumously in 1991 under the Bush administration for his services in the United States Army in WWI.

I am expecting to obtain my MA in History by May of 2010. Currently I plan on moving on to my some Doctoral program in the Fall of 2010.  I am looking into Georgetown, Temple, Yale, William and Mary, California Berkely, and Duke.
