I am a social worker by training; holder of a Masters Degree in Social Work with Families and Children from a consortium of Universities in Portugal, Norway, Sweden and Uganda. My research interests are in: Child Welfare, Children and Participation, Welfare State, and Social Policies with a bias on Family Policies and Welfare arrangements that support parents expecially women to achieve a supportive work-family balance.
