Service and Administrative Experience

Though my service has been varied, much has involved curriculum development and implementation, both in general education (University Studies) and the Honors Program.

Administrative Appointments

2006-2010       WASC Accreditation Liaison Officer.  I have been chairing the Steering Committee for our 2008 Capacity Preparatory Review and preparing for the 2010 Educational Effectiveness Review.

2000-2007       Director, Honors Program.  I became Honors Director with the intention of revising the curriculum and improving the program.  In my time as director, the Program has completed a self-study, and developed and implemented a new curriculum.

1994-1996              Chair, Psychology Department.  When a neighboring institution hired five of our eight faculty in two years, I became the default chair.  In addition to the regular duties involved in administering the department, I rebuilt the faculty and began the process of restoring the number of majors in the department.
