I'm an associate professor at OCAD University, Toronto, and teach design research and systems courses in the M.Design in Strategic Foresight and Innovation. I'm a Senior Fellow of the Strategic Innovation Lab (sLab).

I've managed a boutique innovation research firm,  Redesign, Inc. for 10 years.  Redesign primarily focuses on professional practice informatics, and the redesign of cognitive work systems.

I've been developing a research and practice agenda in emerging applications of dialogic practices in social systems design. I started Dialogic Design in 2007 to help organizations and problem-focused communities co-design effective responses to complex shared concerns by employing strategic dialogue practices. 

Dialogic Design represents new applications of systems and planing processes developed from the Christakis and Warfield's Interactive Management.  This work is supported by my involvement with the non-profit Institute for 21st Century Agoras.
