Currently I am researching the beliefs of Australian soldiers serving on the frontline in World War I. As this abstract about my initial research indicates, I am focussing my research on the digitised soldier diaries held at the State Library of New South Wales and using a combination of traditional historical research methods and various digital tools. I am a professional, freelance historian based in Sydney who has researched the history of education, beliefs (both conventional and unconventional), secularism and referendums as well as family history. I regularly travel to Melbourne and Canberra for research and have often researched in Brisbane, and on occasion, Hobart.
