Dr. Howard Choi received his DDS degree in 2004 from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, one of the best in the country. During his studies, he received recognition and an award for his dental research, taught as an assistant, and became the senior editor for the Columbia Dental Journal Review.

Upon graduation, Dr. Choi moved to Chicago to continue his education in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he received his Certificate in Orthodontics and Masters in Oral Sciences. During his residency, Dr. Choi conducted research that eventually was published into a book and accepted into the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
