Penina Mezei

As the Vice President of Attencia, a branch of Americare that offers a range of health care services, Penina Mezei has managed to bring some revolutionary ideas to the health field. Her reforms made Attencia a sheer competitor among New York home health care providers. Penina Mezei first got involved in mental health issues back in 1989. After reading a newspaper expose, revealing the terrible conditions of mental hospitals, she was touched to the core and decided to invest her time, in making the so needed changes. Her first job in the health care sector was as a nurse. While working, the ambitious driven New Yorker also studied business administration. After a while she got a position at Americare. There she quickly progressed and by listening the patient’s needs and opinions, she was able to create a great working relationship, and a live long bond. Nowadays, her work is mostly focused on providing proper care for people suffering from Alzheimer's disease, and other forms of dementia.
