Born and raised in Finland, I have lived in Northern California for 30 years. I treat technology as a potentially integrative paradigm of/for human understanding in the 21st century. I am attempting a paradigmatic integration that transcends post-academic and multidisciplinary methodologies. I divide my work in a healthy balance between intellectual and worldly activities concerning technology. When I retired from industry, I was considered a foremost expert in semiconductors (image sensors) and medical devices (digital radiography systems) by my peers. I hold U.S. and E.U. citizenships.
