Patrícia Dias is a researcher and teacher on communication and marketing for social and mobile media at the Catholic University of Portugal, in Lisbon, where she integrates the Research Center on Communication and Culture (CECC). She also coordinates de Post-graduated Course on Communication and Social Media [www.mediasociais.pt]. Specialized on the mediation and social impact of digital technologies, Patrícia Dias holds a PhD in Communication Sciences from the Catholic University of Portugal. Author of “Living in the Digital Society” (2014) and “The Mobile Phone and Daily Life”, her work includes several other scientific publications and presentations. More recently, she has been researching on smartphone adoption in Portugal, best Portuguese cases on social media marketing and PR, and multi-screening.
