Lecturer in Neuroscience at the Aix-Marseille University at Timone Neuroscicence Intsitute (INT), head of the SpiCCI researcch group and teaching The Mechanisms of Cellular excitability, Cellular communication and the physiology of sensory systems.

Researcher in Neuroscience with a long experience in Electrophysiological Recordings of cultured neurons and in neurons in brain slices (Hippocampus, Thalamus, Brainstem and spinal cord). The electrophysiological recordings are combined with cellular imaging either morphological or functional (Calcium imaging).

Main present research interest: cerebrospinal fluid contacting neurons along the spinal cord and the brainstem. The study consist in determining the morphological characteristic of these peculiar neurons and to determine their functional properties at the spinal and medullar .
