I was a history professor in my former life, teaching American History and Black History. I was a Library of Congress Research Fellow in 2002-2003. I went over to the dark side in 2003 becoming a director at a research 1 instituion in the provost's office, in the area of diversity and multicultural affairs. I have been married for 4 decades, have three grown and four grand children.
