Nathaniel Rivers
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Georgetown University. I earned my Ph.D in Rhetoric and Composition at Purdue University. My primary area of research and teaching is rhetoric and composition. My current research and writing (stemming from my dissertation research) examines rhetoric at the boundaries of the traditionally discrete categories of "culture" and "nature." That is, it explores rhetoric as the cultivation (both semiotic and material) of bodies and environments.
