I have about 16 years of research experience in water resources and
environmental engineering, with 40 peer-reviewed publications. I am
currently PI of 6 international, national and NGO funded research
projects in the area of Hydrology and Water Resources. I have guided
10 Ph.D students in these areas. I have undertaken about 25 consulting
projects. A few recognitions are:
(a) Member of the Central Level Expert Group for overall re-assessment
of ground water resources of the country - 2010, Ministry of Water
Resources, India, (b) Member of Executive committee of Karnataka State
Natural Disaster Monitoring Center, Government of Karnataka, India,
and (c) Member of Working group on Water Database Development and
Management for the 12th Five year Plan (2012-2017) of Planning
Commission, Govt. of India.
