Mark Trowbridge is the only permanent faculty in art history at Marymount, and thus teaches every region and period ot Western art. His primary research interests are 15th-17th century art from Northern Europe, especially the greater Low Countries. He has published several articles on that subject and is currently preparing a book on the intersection of art and processional dramas in 15th-16th century Bruges.
