Maya Sheikh

I am an undergraduate sophopmore currently taking the second half of the Ramonat Seminar. This half focuses on answering a central research question about how Catholicism helped shape Chicago. I am hoping to learn more about the treatment of individuals in the asylums and magdaline houses many Catholic organizations, and women, helped form.
