So-called 'mature' student approaching final year of undergrad course ... dreading the forthcoming 12k-word dissertation! What's after that? No idea - in my mid-40s now, might just make it to PhD before retirement, lol. Originally from Germany but residing in the UK since 1997. In my other life, I worked for a newspaper in West-Berlin in the 1980s, primarily as layout artist but wrote the occasional concert and record review for the culture section. Seems so dumb in retrospect - I had no clue what I was doing but maybe that's not a bad thing.

Thought that studying Film would cure me from my addiction to visual entertainment which it did ... if only pushing me further towards the much shorter television shows, lol ;)
