I am a co-founder of The Renaissance Charter School in Jackson Heights, Queens and served as its principal for 14 years.  I am currently trying to establish the Education for Global Citizenship Institute.  I am very active in the New York Zone of the Soka Gakkai International, a lay Buddhist organization.
