Experimenting to see what the discussion board looks like with distinct threads or topics for ongoing communication. I can see it would get really cumbersome with too many of these, but there may be uses in a discrete number-- since putting everythg in "group discussion" will lead to a long, long list that may wander. We also will want to get clear about how often to delete things to keep listings current and not have to be endlessly scrolling. I wish the threads were presented in reverse order, as with a lot of email, i.e. you see the more recent items up top, can scroll down for background and to see how thread developed only as needed or if interested. Should check with existing system, though-- is there a quick way to go right to the bottom of a selected thread to see new entries? I notice the "menu" does indicate the date of most recent post, which can alert everyone to a new incoming addition. Also-- not sure how the "following" thing works, as I don't believe I'm getting notifications when the persons I'm following (so far only Laura and Peggy, as the only other members) have uploaded items or posted a reply in a discussion. Laura, any clue as to how the "following/followed" thing works, or is supposed to work? Like war? (i.e. "What is it Good For?"//mike
