I don't think the article is as useful as the first chapter of his book (with the framework for examining resource conflicts : place, capital, nature, development, identity, and networks; but you often find connections that I don't initially see.

The uploading works best for notes, Michele. I tried uploading articles early on and it both did not work for all pieces and also used a lot of space when it did work. So, I've been including links to the Purdue library. I have pdfs of almost all articles I've uploaded if people need them. Pat
