I would like to present either Epsztein J, Lee AK, Chorev E, Brecht M. Impact of spikelets on hippocampal CA1 pyramidal cell activity during spatial exploration. Science [Internet]. 2010 Jan 22;327(5964):474-477. Available from: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20093475 or Larimer P, Strowbridge BW. Representing information in cell assemblies: persistent activity mediated by semilunar granule cells. Nat Neurosci [Internet]. 2009 12;13(2):213-222. Available from: http://www.nature.com/doifinder/10.1038/nn.2458 as well as go over a couple of others I think are worth mentionning, btu I'd like to do it maybe this weekend. Other ideas for the weekend after will never get done otherwise I think . . . Any time yous are free this weekend or thereabouts?

ah ha, well until about 15 mins ago there was nothing recent on this post (whereas the text directing me here was over an hour ago...). is it possible to change the forum so timezone is GMTian btw? anyway, earlier is better for me as i have to travel into ucl, and back afterwards which takes nearly an hour each way. that being said, as given this travel delay, i need to know by 5 to make it for 6

'anything new' being the prerequisite for attenting a discussion seems strange to me. Whatever, I had to go ahead and book the physiology seminar room and got it from 6:30 - chances are we have it from earlier if we like, so Chris, jsut give me a shout when you get here
