Hi Sir, How are you? I hope you are writing as many pages as you can for this book. Can you send me your first lesson? I would like to comment on it so that you will have more or less your own template as you continue to write your book. Thank you so much. Sincerely yours, Toots

sorry for delay. i'm in a thinking mode. i'm trying to imagine the teacher delivering the lessons to the students (who probably know something about computers). and i've been reading on materials about textbook design. my biggest concern was the "organiziing principle" of the textbook or how i will hold it together (including the teacher's manual and delivery of the lessons by the teacher).

right now, i'm going or leaning towards developing the book around the idea of "the network is the computer" popularized by Sun Microsystems. i will discuss the "personal computer" as part of this overall context. hopefully, this will make the textbook a bit more up-to-date with the times and with the new developments in computers.

i'll send you a draft of the first chapter tomorrow.

by the way, i may have to change the section headings.
