I'm collection manager/selector for Psychology, Organization Development and Leadership. I've been developing databases for the faculty members in those fields and am working with other librarians on developing gateways to digitized information that's freely available on the web.

I'm also trying to develop a social network for our patrons revolving around their library research (something like http://www.ravelry.com is for fiber artists).

And my plan is to study how faculty and graduate students read different types of materials.

In my previous life, before becoming a librarian, I was a American Sign Language-English interpreter for 20 years and studied deaf children's acquisition of signed languages.
