I am a Doctoral Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley. I have designed an interdisciplinary program of study that allows for engagement with faculty from my own program in the School of Social Welfare, as well as the Social and Cultural Studies Program in the Graduate School of Education, the Program in Critical Theory, and the Institute for the Study of Societal Issues. I am focusing on developing expertise in using multifaceted critical theoretical lenses in my qualitative and mixed-methods research and progressive pedagogical practice in order to better understand and more effectively seek remedies for educational and other social injustices.
