Mayank Kaushal is an architect, urban designer and an avid writer with sustainable design expertise. He has worked on diverse typologies in public and private sector, spanning various cultural and climatic regions across Asia. Over the years, he was involved in distinguished award winning projects that celebrate sustainability by qualitatively and quantitatively sculpting the environmental resilience. In his projects, he is constantly working to harmonise design research with practical application. 

He has authored renowned publications on the subject of sustainable design and conservation architecture. He has contributed to the MSc ISD programme as juror for studio presentations at the National University of Singapore. His recent editorial work ‘SG3 – Decoding Sustainable Urbanism, Singapore’ examines when and how principles known to urban designers in practice are adapted to emerging imperatives of sustainability. He advocates of a rethink at the drawing board through objective research and analysis.
