Mauricio Salgado
Mauricio Salgado is an associate profesor of sociology and undergraduate program director of sociology at Universidad Andrés Bello. He has led different scientific research projects on social preferences, social norms, education, youth, and family and has published on these topics in several journals and books. Before his current responsibilities, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Analytical Sociology and Institutional Design Group (GSADI) at the Universtitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Mauricio Salgado holds a Ph.D. from the University of Surrey, where he carried out his research on computational sociology at the Centre for Research in Social Simulation (CRESS), based in the Department of Sociology, under the supervision of Professor Nigel Gilbert.
