I teach at Simmons SLIS in the areas of photographic archives, art documentation, digital preservation, preservation, and visual communication. I am working with a group of colleagues in te implementation of a recently adopted concentration in Cultural Heritage Informatics. Last spring I published a book co-authored with Ross Harvey, The Preservation Management Handbook: A Guide for 21st-Century Libraries, Archives and Museums.  My colleagues and I are currently at work on a collection of case studies with a working title: Learning from the LAMs.
