Mark Thomas Charles Tompkins is a British businessman and philanthropist, best known as one of the founders of Montrose Capital and Deep Petrol, the Petrol refining company, and a known owner of many other companies from the same "Group" of businesses.

He has since then expanded his company and invested into oil drills, working on many projects in the northern sea (collaborating with Norwegian firms).

Many business news reporters estimated his fortune at $440 million. In 1999 Tompkins received the CEO position of Montrose Capital and the next year he has been appointed as a leader in "service entrepreneurship."

Tompkins is also known for his passion for trains. He has been seen many times crossing the Atlantic and Pacific with train. Mark has also written several books related to his business...
