Mark oversees and empowers a team of focused individuals who host a series of dynamic conferences for college students and young professionals. The Circle of Change Leadership Conference is a 3-Day Career Leadership Conference that inspires and transforms the lives of student leaders from all across the country. Founded in 2010, these conferences give a platform for student leaders to develop their career skills by connecting them with some of America’s top keynote speakers, workshop presenters, and industry experts from over 70 different companies throughout the country. Circle of Change attracts top companies and corporate executives to recruit these dynamic students for internships and jobs.

Under Mark's direction, the Student Leadership & Development department at CSUSB oversees student clubs, organizations, fraternities, sororities, and leadership programs. Mark's philosophy is "If we are having fun, then we are doing our jobs well." The office been a major contributor to helping the university increase retention and 4-year graduation rates. Mark was nominated by the university president for the Outstanding First-Year Student Advocate Award presented by the National Resource Center for The First-Year Experience and Students in Transition Conference.
