Since 2008, I have been the inaugural Director of the ePortfolio Initiatives at Virginia Tech.  We are very excited to be joining the growing national discussion on the future usefulness of this educational tool.  Before that, I have earned an MA in English Literature, taught composition and worked in the university's Writing Center, and then pursued a Ph.D. in Instructional Design and Technology.  I also worked for the university's Faculty Development Institute and Online Course Support groups.
