I am an effective, caring and dedicated teacher of the Classics. I began my teaching career in a California public high teaching both Ancient Greek and Latin. Now I’m a high school Latin teacher for a distance learning organization. Working for a program fully accredited by NAAS and NCAA means I work with Latin students in schools all across the U.S. The distance learning classroom has afforded many of my students the opportunity to study Latin- a language they may not otherwise have had access to. Open access to Latin fits right into my own teaching philosophy; an interesting and rigorous Latin program can benefit all students. It’s up a qualified and dedicated teacher to illustrate the rich world of the Classics- helping students find the individual value in this world for themselves.
