Magazine Cafe was founded to keep the art of magazine reading alive. Back in the summer of 2005, after discovering that the average magazine store serving New York was just that, "AVERAGE". Frustrated by lack of fashion magazines unable to find our favorite magazines on these so called "Newsstands" we decided to launch a never seen before specialty magazine store. The vision was to create a relaxed and comfortable ambiance with extensive magazine selection for all magazine lovers with varied interests. After lot of thought, planning and hard work, the dream was realized  to make MAGAZINE CAFE one of the most comprehensive magazine stores in America.
