Louis Clerc
I work as a Senior Lecturer in Contemporary History.
Broadly speaking, my research interests revolve around the History of International Relations. In various projects and publications, I deal with a host of more specific subjects: French and Nordic foreign policies, diplomatic relations and the role of diplomats, the cultural aspects of International relations, public diplomacy...
From 2011 to 2013, I am engaged in a post-doc for the Academy of Finland. The theme of this research project is Finland's "national communication" in the 20th century (propaganda, public diplomacy and the like).
Finally, I coordinate a teaching program on the History and Politics of European Integration.
